My name is Theodore Schlosser. I was born in 1981 on the west side of the great state of Michigan. Like most 90’s kids, fort building, playing guns, bike riding (without your parents knowing how far from home you are), Nintendo, and super Nintendo were the big deal. Yes, there are many more activities, but another that I loved was going on trips with my family and using the high and mighty “instant 35mm film camera”. Snap, crank, charge, and shoot away. It was the bees’ knees. My family loved seeing what came from the camera since I had the eye to capture a great shot. I graduating from high school in the year 2000 and joining the United States Navy to see the world and experience life in the military. I bought a few cameras. My first camera was a Canon film camera followed by a “NEW '' Sony digital 1.3-megapixel camera, where two double AA batteries gave you six minutes of camera usage. Watch out! (Yes, I had an actual battery which lasted hours). Before my time in the military was finished, my next camera was a Sony 4.3 or 4.1-megapixel camera. As technology changed, I bought a Fuji Finepix 12 or 14 megapixel camera and a new birth of creative photographs was born. In the early 2010’s, knowing about cameras I really wanted a DSLR. I then acquired from my father an Olympus E-520 10 megapixel camera. With better technology in my hands but still way behind modern times, my photography kept getting stronger. I used to believe that having the best and latest camera meant great work. A few close friends that understood photography told me a wise saying “90-95 percent of the photograph is creativeness from the person behind the camera.” My next camera I acquired was a Canon T1i 16 megapixel camera same era as Olympus but better technology. I have taken a lot of photographs. Currently, I use a Canon T6i 24 megapixel. No matter what camera you use-enjoy life and capture memories.
